Come ogni 8 Dicembre si svolge ad Agnone (Is), la 'Ndocciata. Una tradizione che si perde negli antichi riti pagani, ma ancora molto viva e sentita nella popolazione locale. I portatori accendono le 'ndocce (torce) e si incamminano lungo il corso principale del paese, osannati dalla gente, che diviene cosi’ un gigantesco ed emozionante fiume di fuoco, fino ad arrivare nella piazza dove un grande falò accoglierà le ndoccie, cancellando così tutte le negatività dell' anno passato

 

Like every 8 Dicember take place in Agnone (IS), the " 'Ndocciata", an ancient tradition that is lost in pagan rites, but still alive in the local population.

the bearer bring the torches (ndocce) and walk along the main street of the town, acclaimed by the people, which becomes'a gigantic and exciting river of fire.  They arrive in the main square where a huge bonfire will host the 'ndocce, wiping out all the negativity of the past year.
